Overview:
As part of the EADS Group, Astrium Geo-Information Services is a leading provider of services and technologies in the field of remote sensing and aerial mapping to agencies and private companies around the world. As part of our growth in Asia, we are looking for service platform engineer based in Beijing.
Responsibilities:

Management and the establishment of the company 's series of parallel computing software server environment
·
Design and construction of high availability, high load of intranet network architecture, and continuous improvement
·
Collection and handling of practical problems
·
Be responsible for communication with IT staff, sales staff, software technical support personnel and hardware supplier
Qualifications Requirements:
·
Familiar with Linux system, familiar with common services and the use of such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, SAMBA, LVM, multipath ( RHCE, RHCA certificate will be preferred)
·
Familiar with Red Hat Cluster Suite and the corresponding GFS file system
·
Shell master, can write and read more complex scripts
·
Perl/Python/Ruby master any kind of language, and how to use the system management. (the actual Linux server project experience is preferred )
·
Familiar with common server such as the common HP, DELL, IBM rack and blade server, and an understanding of how to optimize
·
Familiar with network switches such as HP 2910, knows how to multiple switches between configuration
·
Familiar with common storage devices such as SAN switches, storage array, ISCSI etc.
·
Love IT industry, professional in the field of fast learning ability
·
The ability to fluidly communicate and build good relationships with others
·
Fluently English in spoken and written English
·
Preferred Experience: 2-3 years.

As part of our growth in Asia, we are looking for customer support engineer based in Beijing.
Responsibilities:

Customer support engineer will have different missions in China and around Asia / Pacific:
- to support & train our customers owning our products or requiring our services,
- to evaluate technical requests from customers,
- to customize INFOTERRA portfolio products for Asia / Pacific market.
·
Follow an INFOTERRA training session during few months in Europe (France and Germany) in order to acquire key knowledge and practices on INFOTERRA products.
·
Customer support engineer may be sent to foreign Asia / Pacific countries during few weeks in order to support locally our customers in those countries.
Qualifications Requirements:
·
Master of Science or Bachelor of Science degree in at least one of those relevant fields
- Image mapping (photogrammetry, remote sensing…)
- Computer science (knowledge of one programming language and OS…)
·
Keen to communicate and with a sense of customer satisfaction
·
Good command of Unix-like operating system & MS Office-like tools
·
Fluent in Chinese and English
·
Prepared to travel
·
Preferred Experience: 1-2 years, beginners are welcomed too due to our extensive training session in Europe.
